I Have a client that uses another server for their website all together, and uses us for email only. How would i set this up in DNS Management so that they can continue to use the other hosting just for their site?

Whose nameservers are they using for the domain? If they are not pointing the domain to your nameservers then it doesn't matter.

If they are using your nameservers then have to have A records that point to the correct ip address for the other host.

So it would be just like using a PTR record for say ip2: 192.168.1.4 to their webhosting company then 192.168.1.5 which is ours to be the mail side with a names?

Or is that wrong?

Ptr records are for ips to hosts
A records are for hosts to ips

No.

A record
A record
A record
A record

I don't know how PTR even came up in this thread.

wehost.com. IN A 192.168.1.4
www.wehost.com. IN A 192.168.1.4
ftp.wehost.com. IN A 192.168.1.4

mail.wehost.com. IN A 192.168.1.5
wehost.com. IN MX 5 mail.wehost.com.

You don't use the other host's domain at all.
