It seems that when I delete a message, the message gets renamed on the server with a "T" at the end, and isn't deleted immediately.
It also continues to count against the accounts quota, even though it was supposedly moved to the "Trash" folder and then the trash folder is emptied.
Why does exim/dovecot do that? And more importantly, how do I change it so that deleted messages do not continue to count against the user's email quota.
Edit: Nevermind, it appears that once the user logs off, the emails are then cleared off of the hard disk.
