Hi everyone, I have a few questions regarding SSL certificates on DirectAdmin:
When I initially install DirectAdmin and enable Let’s Encrypt, it installs a free SSL certificate valid for 3 months. Does this mean that server (server.example.com), all domains, subdomains, and hosting accounts on the server automatically get a valid SSL, or is it just for the server hostname (server.example.com)?
Is it better to buy a paid SSL from the start, or just use Let’s Encrypt and wait until it expires?
After the 3 months expire, can I issue another Let’s Encrypt SSL for free for all accounts through DirectAdmin, or do I need to install SSL individually for each account again?
