Quick help needed with new Virtual Host rule

Hi everybody!
How can I do to redirect all subdomains by default to a folder called "clients". So that every subdomain that isn't already setup just goes directly to one directory?
Is it a new Virtual Host that needs to be setup with a default rule so that if there isn't a VirtualHost, they default to the subfolder "clients"?
If so, can someone please help me this one? Im a total noob to this kind of stuff.
I really need this help fast!

Use * as the subdomain. *.domain.com

Not sure how it should be setup in directadmin though ... never tried it before.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess you are on the right track but unfortunately my knowledge about this is too small to do anything with the tip.
Can anyone help me with a complete solution and how to fix it?
