I've got a really weird issue here;

This is the diskspace on one of my clients; 194.6 / 150
How can that be? I thought it had to stop being able to use hard disk space when it was over the (in this case) 150MB permitted?

Can you help me on this one?

Thanks.

Yes but I don't want to suspend the user, I just want him to be unable to upload any more.

I don't think thats possible, the thing i do is send them a bill for more usage for that month (it is in my FAQ and policy)

DA does not suspend based on disk usage and there is no way to prevent a user uploading more files in DirectAdmin.

What we do (if you're interested) is that we notify the user that (s)he is currently exceeding the allowed disk usage and that (s)he has 7 days to remedy the situation, if the situation is not resolved within the 7 days we will bill for the extra usage and the bill has to be paid within 7 days. If the bill is not paid we suspend the account until the bill is paid.

Kind regards,
Onno Vrijburg

I'm looking to a way to block user uploading over limit. Like Plesk do.

Thanks

It is possible? and how to do it? I have read several time that is not possible.

As far as I know it's possible. Not through DirectAdmin but you can set it up manually outside. There are numorous howto's that can be found through search engines such as google.

I believe there's even a thread or so on these forums on how to set up hard quotas.
