hello,

i moved my server to another datacenter. Everything works fine but we have interesting dns problem. In my computer i can connect without any problems. But the other machines once connects than the other day cannot connect.

This people can change day by day and country by country.

And when i check the dns there is no ip address for my nameservers. I have 3 different nameserver from 3 different registar. So no problem with registar. i get lots of time named error and i rebuilded named.conf.

how can i add ip address to nameservers ? this is really interesting problem.

i checked from who.is benzersizhosting.com ns1 has no ip.
i checked from yourdatacenter.com/dnscheck i got Unable to find nameserver IP address(es) for ns1.benzersizhosting.com.

But i can connect to my sites. How can i fix it please help me :(

You probably just needed to wait, as DNS changes are not instant throughout the whole internet.

edit: saw your reply, so is it fixed now? I can reach your website perfectly.

Arieh you and your friends may reach but some of your friends cant reach for ex i live in Turkey/Ankara i can reach perfect. but my friend in Turkey/Manisa cant reach .

dns server changed 2 weeks before

The problem is probably that you didn't provide glue records at your registar. You registered your domain to its own nameservers, so it needs to know from the outside which IP addresses belongs to them.

http://whois.domaintools.com/benzersizhosting.com

It shows:

Domain servers in listed order:
NS1.BENZERSIZHOSTING.COM
NS2.BENZERSIZHOSTING.COM

It should show:

Domain servers in listed order:
NS1.BENZERSIZHOSTING.COM 80.82.209.247
NS2.BENZERSIZHOSTING.COM 81.30.144.145

dear guys sorry but the other nameservers has same error

ns1.benzersizhosting.net
ns1.goldenweb.ch

they have different registar but has same error

I think I'm on the right trail though, because both benzersizhosting.net and goldenweb.ch also give glue errors at http://www.webdnstools.com/dnstools/domain_check

and dig thosedomains.net +trace can't resolve them either.

With goldenweb.ch I do see IP addresses in the whois, so I'm not sure whats going on.

As for query (cache) denied errors, they usually show up for domains you don't host. I whoissed a few, they appear to be registered on your nameservers, but you probably don't have those domains on your server anymore?

Maybe you can look into those glue records or maybe someone else has a suggestion.

Arieh i checked out benzersizhosting.com has glue records on godaddy. the others i dont know. but we dont have any problems in our other ip when we changed ip we have this problem.

and DC told us that

your named runs fine, when I ask your DNS-server for benzersizhosting.com it resolves the ip 80.82.209.247:

$ > dig @80.82.209.247 benzersizhosting.com

;; QUESTION SECTION:
;benzersizhosting.com. IN A

;; ANSWER SECTION:
benzersizhosting.com. 14400 IN A 80.82.209.247

;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
benzersizhosting.com. 14400 IN NS ns1.benzersizhosting.com.
benzersizhosting.com. 14400 IN NS ns2.benzersizhosting.com.

digging the domain indeed works, however:

dig @80.82.209.247 ns1.benzersizhosting.com

; <<>> DiG 9.5.1-P3 <<>> @80.82.209.247 ns1.benzersizhosting.com

That should have returned the A record for ns1.benzersizhosting.com.

Under DNS management of benzersizhosting.com, do you have A records for ns1.benzersizhosting.com. (and for ns2)?
