Recent files gone... Old files restored themself?

Hi,

I'm not very good in english but i hope you all will understund what i'm saying :)

I have a really weird problem. I have a couple of users running on my server. Now suddenly a user got files from 31 october... This is weird cause no know did anything.

I placed the user at 31 ocotober on the server by restore a backup from a other server but i haven't logged in since then.

Somehow the files are back on the server and the newer files are gone. How is this posible...

Does anyone knows how i can figure out how this has happened? I have looked in many log files but i couldn't find anything usefull... Maybe you guys have any idea.

Please help :)
 
The most logical possibility is that the backups were still somewhere in your reseller's backup area or the user's own backup area and someone, perhaps not realizing what they were, clicked to restore them.

I checked directadmin logs but couldn't find anything that would trigger that action. That's the weird part of it...
