Recompiling PHP with IMAP support

Hey guys,

I'm having some issues getting email piping working in WHMCS and I'm told this is due to PHP needing to be re-compiled with IMAP support (phpinfo shows no info about IMAP on my new webserver where as it did before on my old server).

I've spoken to DA support who linked me to the following guide:
http://www.directadmin.com/imap.txt

Unfortunately this did not work and actually totally broke PHP meaning I had to use 'build all d' to fix the issue.

I'm using Apache 2 and PHP 5, if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it

i have a customer who wants php-imap also

but http://www.directadmin.com/imap.txt is for customapache i'm using custombuild will that work on custombuild?

if found another link because i'm using freebsd 6.3
