I got a client that wants a website done. It took him a bit too long to get details to me, but it started popping up on Google anyways. All I did was rename via FTP, domain.com to domain.comx thinking when they finally (two months later) get me the info to start the majority of the work, I can simply remove the X.
Well I'll be damned if the system recreated the .com's, and I can't delete them. It's really not a problem, since virtually NO work has been done yet. Worst case is, I delete the account and recreate it. But I'm surprised that this happened.
The clients have not touched their user CP at all. I haven't even gotten as far as giving them that. I haven't turned over the final product yet, so there was no reason to.
My question is, is this normal? I'm using Filezilla, and it says, there's no directory to delete. Yet on File Manager, both the .com's and the .comx's exist. .com is empty and I get "permission denied". CHMOD maybe? I haven't looked that far into it.
