Difference is that RedHat Enterprise costs money, while Centos and Almalinux are free. I don't see any reason to use RedHat for myself.

There are lots of users installing Alma or Rocky 9, I didn't read of people need to install bind manually. However, I also installed a fresh VPS for a collegue this week, also with Alma 8, because he needed php 7.4 for a little bit more.
