redirection fails with www in url

i own givekidsabreak.org and I want to redirect it to givekidsabreak.com which I dont own.

I'm using my own nameserver with givekidsabreak.org, ns1.practicalnoise.com and ns2.practicalnoise.com

.htaccess for givekidsabreak.org is:
Redirect / http://www.givekidsabreak.com

it redirects if i use http://givekidsabreak.org but if i try http://www.givekidsabreak.org i get sent to a register.com page

any ideas?

hm nevermind it started working now
maybe it was a propogation issue
