Redis ?

Hi,

I would always like to serve the best expirience for my clients and I am using a lot of WordPress installation what makes it for 99% of my clients a lot eassier.
Now when I check the Site Health screens I get the information that I should install Redis ?

A persistent object cache makes your site’s database more efficient, resulting in faster load times because WordPress can retrieve your site’s content and settings much more quickly.

Your hosting provider can tell you if a persistent object cache can be enabled on your site. Your host appears to support the following object caching services: Redis.

In the past I've tried to install this but got like broken sites or halve loaded scripts on my installs. What would be the right way too install this on my VPS ?>

For DA it's fairly easy, if you have a modern license (not a lifetime or datacenter license).

No , you have to acquire a new license type , legacy is not going to help

It is possible to install redis itself, without pro pack, but dont ask me how. My linuxadmin did it for me a time ago. It was running as service on port, and not as socket as it is with propack.

Hi as it turned out, followed this tutorial on CentOS 7 and it worked perfect !
