Hello,

I want to settup my databases like this:

Server -----> remote server (here are my databases) -----> server

So what I want is where my direct-admin install is to use the server externaly. So I need to give my direct-admin server full acces to a remote location. I don't kn ow how to set it up corectly, but it would be great if you can edit datbases etcetera from my direct-admin install. What would I need to chance? I cant connect to my remote database yet, so if you can assist me in setting this up that would also be great.

Greetings Wouter Lambermont

Very simple to do, just look at your MySQL bind-address, open the port and look in the DA support section. I'd be willing to do this for you if you'd like, just send me a PM.

You need to login as the user.
Go to 'MySQL Management'
Click on the database
On the page add the hostname/ip of the host that want to connect to your database.
And the last thing, if not open the mysql port in your firewall.
