Remove conflicting rpm's on install with flag..

For our dedicated systems it has been a pain to do different
installs for customers that want a 'stock' redhat versus
DA. This is because our stock redhat install has things
that should not be installed such as sendmail / mysql etc.

If DA could remove conflicting rpm's (either with a flag,
or promt or whatever) that would allow us to pre-install
our systems and just install DA if the customer wants it.

Or am I missing something here about how I should
be dealing with this?

Thanks!

Hello,

Most people forget to remove the "conflicting" rpms anyway, so DA will do it for you. All rpms that shouldn't be there will be removed automatically (95% of the time, as we can't predict *all* programs that might conflict :)) In general, it's not something you need to worry about too much.
