After a long search & tracking down I eventually found why I still had double DNS/Apache records. (http://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=46466&)
It seemed the 'linked ip' was still at the main IP while I already had removed the IP address.
It would be nice to make sure linked ip's will be removed as well when the ip is removed
