Renew DirectAdmin SSL certificate to create SHA-2 certificate

A while ago, when setting up DA, I installed a self signed certificate for DA to use. I followed this manual: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=15

This certificate is SHA-1. I would like to upgrade it to SHA-2. How can I do that? Simply following the manual again didn't upgraded the certificate.

add -sha256 to your openssl command, but better yet, get a free sslcert from letsencrypt.org.

Edit: use 'openssl dgst --help' to see which digests are supported with your openssl version
