Please add:

1. possibility to add subdomain without directory in root. For example:
   test.directadmin.com -> public_html/test
   staff.directadmin.com -> public_html/test/staff
2. message of confirm for delete directories(Are you sure that you would delete directory "NAME"?) and message with name of directory deleted("Directory "NAME" deleted succefull")

You can't create what DA calls a subdomain unless you have a domain, because DA creates a subdomain as a subdirectory of the domain.

However you can create a subdirectory as it's own domain; simply create a domain called sub.example.com.

(Of course you won't then be able to create other subdirectories in the same space.)

Going back to what you asked about, you don't have to use the domain, or point DNS to it, but you have to create it.

If you don't host the domain on your DA server then you have to make sure you handle DNS properly for the subdomain, as DA won't do it for you.

Since I'm not an employee of JBMC (the company that produces DA), I get to pick and choose what to answer .

I have no idea if they'll add that or not.
