Hello,

Is this possible?
Resellers can create cron jobs for user backups. However, they can't select items (I mean the same kind of items users can select). It would be nice to allow resellers to choose which items they want to backup for users. For instance, it would be nice to allow resellers to schedule a daily task to backup the user DBs and a weekly task for the user files.
And that they can change the path to the backup files

It rather should be a feature request. I'm not sure, whether it is possible to do that without any scripting.

I'm not sure what you mean. Resellers have full access to the accounts of their users.

I think he mean make backups of all users from reseller level.

On admin we got admin backup that backup admin/resellers/users

On reseller there should be the way to backup reseller/reseller's users all at once.

That should be usefull.

There's already a Manage User Backups link off the Reseller login page, so do you mean that it should also let the reseller back up his own accounts? Is that the functionality you're asking for as a feature request?

As far as I understood the TS, he wants on reseller level to be able to choose what to include in periodic backups, done with cron. As for now a reseller can backup his customers data, but he/she can not choose what exactly to add to this backups.

If I'm not mistaken, John has implemented this feature for admin, and it's planned for resellers. The feature should be tested, that is what John said, before to make it for resellers.

I want that reseller can select what they backup.
What we can do with admin.
