Reseller IP not resolving

Hello, i have a problem with reseller ip not resolving. I added an ip through admin panel.
Created new reseller with same ip, in admin ip management it shows status as owned. But when i goto the ip i get connection timed out.

What i want is that this reseller will have its own ip and will be running website from this account. There will be no other user on this account.

I did looked into the log files but nothing that would ring an alarm. I can access the reseller home directory from Server IP but not from reseller IP.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello,

Firstly check your ifconfig output to make sure you've got the IP on your network interface.
Secondly check your firewall settings and rules to make sure you're not filtering destination IP.
Thirdly check your traceroute from home PC or other network device from which you connect to your directadmin powered server.

If none helps you, then you need to open a ticket with your hosting company from which you buy VPS/Dedicated server or DC where you might collocate the server.
