Reseller personal nameserver

Hello all,

First of all I hope you all had a great christmas and will have a very happy, loving and healthy 2013.

Now my question. One of my resellers has requested a personal nameserver (ns1.eenwereldapart.nl and ns2.eenwereldapart.nl). Am I obligated to assign an personal IP address to this reseller to make these nameservers work? Or can this nameserver work on the main IP addresses of the server? The server itself has an different nameserver (ns1.emotion-software.nl and ns2.emotion-software.nl)

Hello,

No need to set a personal IP, unless it is what you are asked about. Just delegate ns1.eenwereldapart.nl with IP address of ns1.emotion-software.nl and ns2.eenwereldapart.nl with IP address of ns2.emotion-software.nl. And your reseller should change default nameservers for new accounts on his setting page in directadmin.
