Hello and thank your for reading.

I have Directadmin working with SSL. Now I have a reseller with owned IP and his own ssl certificate. How can I enable his certificate for port 2222?

Directadmin: https://www.mydomain.com:2222 IP: A.A.A.A
Reseller certificate working: https://www.resellerdomain.com IP: B.B.B.B

When connecting to https://www.resellerdomain.com:2222 or https://B.B.B.B:222, I get www.mydomain.com certificate, same as IP A.A.A.A

How can I enable resellerdomain.com certificate for ip B.B.B.B port 2222

Kind regards,

Roberto

You cant directadmin can only use one ssl certificate for the server.

Fured that out... Even working with multiple IPs?

I'm thinking the only solution is disabling ssl for directadmin but don't really like it...

Thank you scsi

Since you haven't given us real domain names it's hard to know if this would work for you:

We use a generic hostname (based on the namelessnet.net domain, which we own) for the server, and we tell all users to log into DirectAdmin through that domain name.

For example:

Buy a server certificate for hostname.example.com. Install it manually so it'll work with hostname.example.com:2222. Then have everyone log into DirectAdmin using hostname.example.com:2222.

You should never do an insecure login using admin; if anyone ever grabs that password it gives them too much control over your server.

Hie Jeff,

This a great and cheap idea. I'm just looking for a free domain...

Thank you vey much,

Roberto

I have no idea what you mean by a free domain, but if you mean you don't want to register another domain, then use a subdomain of your current domain.

Jeff

I mean an available domain...

Thanks again Jeff
