Hi ,
I am having a problem with my image hosting website , I like to do some moderation from time to time and for that I download the newly uploaded images using ftp .. three days ago I noticed that I can download the new images but I can't still view them in the browser ..
I decided to take a look at my file manager and here is what I found

the new files are assigned to apache and therefore I can't change the permission nor I can download them ..
I can solve this by clicking "Reset Ownership" and it will assign it back to the admin .. but as you can see this won't be an easy job as I get alot of daily images and clicking manually in each image to reset it's owner will be like a lot of work .. so here is the deal , is there anyway that I can change the ownership of multiple files at once (the folder is already assigned to the admin so I can't use the recursive option)? or how can I make the new uploaded file to be assigned directly to the admin ?
Thank

If you own the server you can run a cronjob script as often as necessary to change the ownership of the files.
