My domains folder has the UID set to root after all the files in file manager were deleted. It propagated a domain, imap, mail folder automatically. Now I can't access the domain folder. Is it possible to delete the domain in admin settings and put it back so that the permissions will reset itself? Or how do I go about resetting the root user to my admin profile. I believe our site is hosted on our school's server, but I haven't had any luck contacting anyone from there so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

If you buy a hosting with Directadmin Hosting Panel, you should referrer your question to your hosting company. As Directadmin does not allow resetting ownership from user for anybody, so it should be done with root SSH access.
