I have a basic reseller plan (mostly for personal use) & would like to move to a basic VPS plan with 128Mb Min / 512Mb burst - running CentOS 4. With a choice of Cpanel or DirectAdmin (same price). I have only used Cpanel but checked out the DA demo and quite liked the look of it.
I have read the DA uses less resources than Cpanel and would like to know how much ram (or % of ram) each uses on a *bare system similar to the system above?
*bare meaning before adding websites etc.
I don't expect an exact figure just something to help me make a more informed decision.
Also is the ram being used all the time or just when someone is actually logged into and using the control panel?
