Restore backup leaves standard index.html page

When restoring an backup, direct admin doesn't delete it's standard index.html page.

You have to delete this one manually to get the page to work.
 
That is correct. Maybe you meant to post this in Feedback & Feature Requests.

What I'll do is actually rename it to index.html.moved .. as the index.html may not be the one DA added.. the user may have his own.. we wouldn't want to delete the from him if he put in a lot of work ;)

My issue is a bit unique ...

I bought a website/domain from a guy using cpanel ...

After I convert the cpanel tarball to DirectAdmin and restore it, every 12 hours give/take, the index.html is renamed again to index.html.moved ... effectively breaking all the sites, until I can go back and rename them to index.html again. :(

I am pulling out my hair ... Please advise!
 
ok .. so how do i stop it from continually renaming the index to index.html.moved?

I have had to rename it back several times now in the past week. Its getting to be a nuisance now!
