Hello,

I was restoring 100 accounts from the old server. Just moving clients to new machine. The old one is still working. However few accounts are not working properly. During restore it gives error:

Code:
Unable to read /etc/virtual/gmina.rarkow.com.pl/passwd Unable to open /etc/virtual/gmina.rarkow.com.pl/passwd for reading.

Catch all is now set to :fail:

User's System Quotas set

User's System Quotas set
Unable to read the ftp config file for domain gmina.rarkow.com.pl

I have tried to backup it restore via admin level, reseller level and user level and the same error occured.

I don't see any filesystem error. Can you help me somehow? It is urgent for me.

It worked...do you now how?

I have deleted it and again restored. It worked without any problem.
I think it is Directadmin error. It does the check if /etc/virtual/domain exists
and if exists it does not restore files there... Why?

I would not say so. Directadmin tried to check whether the file exists. Anyway, I don't see any errors there. Where did you get those lines?

I think he meant he deleted the account and restored it again.

However... if you got the same error message, it may simply mean the password file didn't exist before the restore, and it may very well work fine after the restore. If it does exist, and is not updated by the restore, check the ownership and permission settings on the file.

Jeff

Hello,

Deleting account was not helpful as it still left some files.

I remember that I deleted folder:
/etc/virtual/gmina.rarkow.com.pl

and after it I tried restore and it worked.
