restoring from backup

When i restore logged in as a user in da, from a backupfile, that works. But all files made after the backup are still there. Also, database tables are still in the database even though there are not in the backup file.

Does anybody know what maybe is wrong? Why aren't the newer files deleted?

Hello,

When restoring an account directadmin does not remove existing data, if you need it, do it your self before restore.

Is that also when your restore a normal backup? Not a user but only a file backup?

What is a file backup?

All known to me backup/restore functionality which is built-in directadmin acts the same.
