Hi
I'm a new user to direct admin and I am facing some difficulty. Previously I was using CPanel and had created a backup of my site using the backup function.
the file is being saved and I have tried using the backup/restore function from Directadmin both as a reseller and a user. When I used the reseller restore method, i got the following error:
"An error occurred during the restore.
Unable to extract the directory 'backup' from the file /home/ikercas/user_backups/ikercas.tar.gz
Unable to read the backed up user.usage file"
I wonder what could have gone wrong, and could it be because 1) I was using Cpanel previously and there is an incompatibility issue or 2) the naming of the individual files in the .tar.gz file. they are named as, for example,
"backup-4.13.2007_01-40-12_ikercas\homedir\public_html\postinfo.html"
I wonder if the "backup-4.13.2007blah blah blah before the _ikercas\homedir.... could be a source of problem because previously when the main folder was named similarly, it couldn't be restored until i changed the name of the zip file to just ikercas.tar.gz.
Thank you.
