i'm a reseller (res013010) and i want to move to new vps. how can i restore myself with different username from mylast host.

Hello,

1) Create the Reseller account on the new server with "newuser" as the username.
2) chgange the name of the backup to "newuser.tar.gz" and restore it through the Reseller Panel -> User Backups page. (or else use the "Site Backup" in the user panel)

what is the impact restoring reseller. i already created new package, restoring individual user na d ip assignment. i just need my html/mail/mysql.

i afraid when i restore my reseller into the new system, i overwrite everything including my users settings/package and others

Hello,

Backups will still only affect the user portion of your account during a restore so any user packages etc should not be touched.

If you only want certain part of the user backup, place the tar.gz file into your /home/username/backups directory, go to the User Panel -> Site Backup/Restore
Select the file you just copied and you can select whichever aspects of the file you want to restore.
