Restoring an old backup with a weak SSL will fail whole server (webserver will not start)!

Directadmin should warn/remove/replace weak SSL when restoring backup archive that contains an old ssl!

Kind regards,
Jan

But I do agree that there should be a function that completely blocks it if that is the case. A regular user could do this as way to shut down the server.

That is a bit of an exaggeration. Delete the domain and it will start again. The server is NOT "bricked."

I agree.
But it's a very serious bug and it should be fixed ASAP.

Apache did not give any useful info on Debian 10 with command systemctl status httpd.service

Nginx gave this with systemctl status nginx.service:
nginx: [emerg] SSL_CTX_use_certificate("/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/x/domains/x.com.cert.combined") failed (SSL: error:140AB18E:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_certificate:ca md too weak)

You should notify DirectAdmin directly. This is only a community forum. We cannot fix it.

If you need to figure out how to do something or have other questions this forum is fine. But if there is a legitimate bug then that should be reported to them directly through the ticket system https://tickets.directadmin.com/ They don't read every single post here.
