HELP PLEASE

Hey,

I got the same issue. Spammers have found a way to make you look like the master spammer. Here is how I think they work:

They have a html form with an answering email address like: [email protected]. They send all kinds of email with this form to emailservers and sometimes wrong email addresses. If the recieving email server, where the email is being send through the html form, rejects the email, it will send the email back to the answer email address which was recieved through the html form. [email protected] gets the rejected email because the recieving email server "thinks" the mail is comming from your server.

schematic:

HTML form (with answer email address [email protected]) --> sends to mailserver.domain.com --> rejects the email because the reciever does not exsist --> rejected to [email protected]

I found some sort of solution by shutting down my catchall and let it bounce again.

But i do not know what we can do about it.

Hope it helps a little.

Dennis
