Hi,
I try to install Zen Sitebuilder - they need: ""Enter LOCAL computer's default Database 'root' password. This is the root password for mySQL and is used by setup so that it can create the necessary user-IDs to be able to create end-user databases."

As I got the server, there was a root pw for mySQL, but since the DA installation this is not valid anymore (i got the installation service from DA).

I have now only the da_admin mySQL-account where I can see all user-databases (but not the DA itself)

Is there another right "root mySQL-account" where DA stays itself and where I should install the Zen?

thx 4 help!

You did find the "root" (da_admin) password in that file, but it is not always indicative of the REAL da_admin password for your system. The configuration file that contains what you want is:

/usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf
