run slave dns

Hello,

I want to run a secondar dns on a service like no-ip, dydns.

Currently I have setup ns1 & ns2 with two different ips on the same machine

From the service provider I just enter my dns server ip to receive my zones

Do I have to enable something in named configuration in order to work?

Also do you think I could just use only ns1 with one IP and the rest from the secondary service? In that case for all domains in directadmin I have to change them ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.dnsservice.com ?

I'm more than a bit confused because you can run neither DirectAdmin nor DNS servers, on dynamic IP#s.

Are you trying to run a master nameserver on your DirectAdmin based server, and slave DNS somewhere else? If so then you'll need to ask your slave DNS provider how to set it up.
