safemode=on webmail, and some other scripts not work

When i turn SafeMode to ON in php.ini

UebiMiau, and some other scripts not work.

What do You sugest to do to fix that problem ?

Now i turn php safe mode off

But i disable a few functions exec,shell_exec,passthru,system


What do You sugest to disable to have a full secure system ?
