same email over and over.

I have a strange problem I can not figure out.
a client of mine keeps receiving the same email over and over again. I see the mail come up in the mail que, I remove it and 4 to 5 mins later there is a new one in the mal que.

when my client checks for new email with her outlook, she receives the mail and they disappear from the que, but 5 mins later there are the same mails again in the que.
Is there anyway I can get the mail to stop???
It is not spam, my client knows the sender, and the email was first sent intentionallly, but now keeps getting sent again and again.

the sender has a @live.nl mail address and I don't know how to contact live.nl te chech their mailserver for errors.

How are you removing the email from the queue?

Check the message-ID in the headers of multiple copies of the email to see if they have the same message-ID. If they don't, the problem is most likely not on your server.

If they do, then you'll need to study your /var/log/exim/mainlog file to figure it out.

I just go to mail queue management and delete the mails there.
worked OK but I got a little tired of doing that every 5 mins, so I put the email address on the spam-blocklist.
Since about 3 hours the mails stopped coming in, so I guess it solved itself, for now,
I'll keep a close eye on it for the next few days to see if the mails return, but so far so good.

It is a very common problem for mail to get stuck in the Outlook outbox. The sender is at fault.
