Script after backup

I need to call a script every day after compeletion of daily backup cron, In the forum I've found the script below:
user_backup_post.sh
But it will be called for each user separately which is not fine for me,
So is there any way to call a bash script after daily backup just one time?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If it can give the status, this will also very nice for our monitoring script
