With so many people using public hotspots, and the increasing average technical knowledge of users, I would like to suggest a secure e-mail option that would allow only access to e-mail via the secure protocols such as smtps, 587s, pop3s, imaps, and https for webmail. I realize that you support the secure protocols now except you don't have an option to enforce them as you do with the control panel. This would be consistent with public e-mail services which do not allow unencrypted access to any e-mail for these reasons. It seems you are very close to having that ability in-hand now.
I currently do it on the firewall and by editing the squirrel index.php.
Thank you for your consideration.
