Secure /tmp

I followed this tutorial: http://www.linux-noob.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=766

But When i execute a bash script in it, it works just fine

I did get this while following the steps:

/sbin/mke2fs /dev/tmpMnt
mke2fs 1.34 (25-Jul-2003)
/dev/tmpMnt is not a block special device.
Proceed anyway? (y,n) y
warning: 287 blocks unused.

So, what is going on? It isn't working right?
Should i fix something? Shoudl I try cpanels securetmp script?
