hello all,

today i received a request from a company who wanted to copy all email-messages which are sent to a specific address in their domain to another address, and have it delivered normally at the specific user.

so when i sent an email to [email protected], it gets delivered at [email protected] and [email protected]

does anyone know how to do this ?

tnx in advance.

he j ;),

yeah, well, the problem is, the user who's mail is being forwarded, must not know it is being forwarded ... he's a suspect of fraud, so the manager wants to monitor his email.

there must be some other way to accomplish it :)

We'll don't think it's legal for a manager to look into a private account but OK. You could write some script to wich you pipe it that will handle the delivery. (Email pipes)

Whether it's legal or not depends on your jurisdiction. In the U.S. it's quite legal as long as the company posts as part of it's policy that emails may be read by management.

It can be done easily enough by custom changes to the exim.conf file.

We wrote the exim.conf file used by DA, and if anyone needs custom work done on it that they cannot or would rather not do themselves, we'd be happy to consult, or to actually do the work on a consulting basis.
