I have 13 ip's on a Linux system running DA and a fair amount of domains. The problem is that mail sent from any of these IP's or domains is either blocked, put into bulk, junk, or spam a lot of the time.

This is not the case all the time. DNSstuff shows that reverse DNS and HELO are some of the problems. My skill level is not high enough for me to fix this. I can't afford to have a high percentage of my mail dumped.

I do not spam in any form nor do I need to block any header information. Just real email to real clients, that's it.

I have full control of the server.

I can't afford a lot of money to fix this but I realize it would take me weeks to resolve the problem.

If you are excellent with these types of problems then give me an idea of what it would cost to fix it. I realize I would have to contact the company that has my rack server and they have to make mods for reverse lookup also.

Please help...

Hello,

Email will usually be sent out from 1 IP all the time on your box, usually the hostname IP.

you can tell exim which IP you would rather use by editing your /etc/exim.conf file and setting the "interface" option in the "remote_smtp:" transport:
http://exim.org/exim-html-3.20/doc/html/spec_19.html#SEC560

So try a few different IPs to see if they help.
You can check http://www.us.sorbs.net/ to see if the IP you're testing is on the blocked list or not. (assuming it's sorbs that is doing it). You can also request to be removed via that site as well.

There's a great multiple-blocklist lookup tool here; we've been using it for a long time and it works great.

Once you get to that page click on Openrbl JL Client. Once you're redirected, enter the IP# you want to check and click on Lookup. The results should be self-explanatory; all those colored blocks are buttons you can click on for more information.

If you really want to spend money, send me an email. :)
