Separate main email account from domain mailboxes

Hello,

is it possible to separate main email account from domain mailboxes with same local part?

I. e. we have user 'customer' who has domain1.com, domain2.com and domain3.com. DirectAdmin does not allow to create dedicated [email protected] mailbox - it is always the same mailbox as [email protected] and [email protected], because it is default email account. This behaviour is not always desired.

I understand that user account requires existing default mailbox. But I would want to leave it as [email protected], and allow users to create mailboxes in domains with the same local part as an account name.

I'm guessing you can, by manipulating the aliases, somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Perhaps in the /etc/virtual/example.com/aliases file.

Anyone else?
