Server DOWN Help

Dear guys,

My server has just send 100Mbit (outbound) data or what ever.
It was down. I call the data center and they tell to me to find a solution my server just send DDOS.

It now online but i must find why it created a 100Mbit outbound.

I search everything but i didnt find anything..

Cany anyone give some advise how to search or find the problem.

did you run a root kit scanner on the machine yet?

2nd is your dns allowing recursive lookups?

try doing a netstat and post the output from
ps aux

I had a rkhunter but i removed it.
What do you mean with
2nd is your dns allowing recursive lookups


What can i do ?
