server hostname selection

I have a question on installation of DA, when it prompt for me enter the hostname.

Q1)
If my domain name is abc.com, that mean I cant using abc.com as my domain name, is it ?

In my situation, using server.abc.com is a good hostname, is it?

For exim mail issues I would recommend server.abc.com instead of for example abc.com.

Because you probaly create mailaccounts behind abc.com

As long as you don't specify the server's hostname as a domain, all will go well

So take server.abc.com as hostname
