Hello, I have a question about Servers and their ips.
I have been told that your IPS are always changing. So im thinking, what happens when you reboot your server. Does the IP change or stay the same. because of course, if it changes, then all of the clients on that server will not work anymore. So is this true they always change or false? Thanks alot!

IP's always change if you use a DHCP server. To run a server with DirectAdmin, you must have a static IP address, which your ISP may or may not charge extra for, as well as have the server directly available on that IP. In otherwords, you can NOT have a server behind a router or any other type of network address translation device.(NAT)

Constant IP changing usually happens in a Local Network environment. If you colocate your server at a datacenter or have a leased line, most ISP's will provide at least 1 static IP.
