Server move and old email

Hi,
I just moved some domains to a new server. Some of the email is still going for the old domain. I know this because when I log into the old server and see the account settings, it says that XX mb is being by the emails.

How do I check these emails or somehow forward them to the new server??

I have tried just using the old server ip address to log in and get the emails using outlook. That does not work.

I just want to be able to delete them if nothing else.

any ideas would be great.

Create (on the new server) an A record for something like "old.example.com" (where of course you use the real domain name.

Then the users should be able to log in using their complete email address and their password at the old server, at either old.example.com/squirrelmail or at old.example.com/webmail.

Or for a system account email address (where the email address is the same as the username of the account, logging in with only the username.
