Server Power Testing...

Hi Admins,

I currently work as head technician in a school. We have recently bought new servers. Securing them, especially with over 1,000 pupils who could potentially be hackers is a tricky business! We have all security in place. I am just running a few tests to see how much the servers can take. I really need some way of potentially overloading the servers. How would I attack the servers to see how long it takes before they overload? Any help, it would be greatly appreciated, term starts again in 5 days!

Unless these are DirectAdmin webservers, then this forum is probably the wrong place to ask. I've moved the thread to Off-Topic Discussion. If I've guessed wrong and these are DirectAdmin powered webservers, let me know, and I'll find a better location.
