Server Questions

I will be using 3 of my servers for virtual/shared webhosting. Do I need to purchase 3 separate licenses for these to all work together? For example, when the first server reaches x amount of customers, I would then like to put new customers on the second server and so on. Is this possible with DA or does anyone know how to accomplish this without trouble? Ideally I would like to maintain a single customer database without having 3 separate copies of DA all with their own customer info.

Thanks

DA does not yet offer an integrated multi-server solution.

However I believe ModernBill can be set up to install users on remote systems>

You might want to check with them.

Anyone else?

Does anyone from the development team know when multi-server support will occur from DA? I would really like to know this before I purchase a copy of directadmin...

Its a feature that has been looked at, and will be coming in the future, although im almost certain development has not yet started on it.

At the moment, you would require a single license for each server and im sure that will remain even with the multi-server support in place - the difference being one server will be able to control your others running DA.

Modernbill can be setup to do this with DirectAdmin. Currently there are 3 options for server fill order in the setup:
- Fill one at a time
- Fill based on server order
- Balance accounts on all servers
