Server Staus

Sorry if this in the wrong section.

On some hosts I have seen server staus pages where they have green/red lights to depict the status of the server and its features, uptime etc.

How can I do this?

Sorry if this is simple I am new to owning my own server.

You can easily do it with php. Use a skin that already has it unless you know php.

Direct Admin skin? Are therec no free ones? Can't find no free plugins either
