server under dos attack

a few days ago all the site in my server went down and I can still see the page for DA login but none of my password work any more.

we contact the people we rent server from and they send us a email saying that server is under DOS attack that what I would like them to do .


since I cant login to DA what can I tell this people to do ?
any advise ?

if password doesn't work anymore, your server probably is hacked.
still able to login use ssh?

no all my password even shh are no good any more .

ask the datacenter to reset the root password for you. then you might need to hire a server admin to take a look.
