Hello all, i am going to upgrade our server from centos 6.2 to centos 7. We have decided to format our current server and reinstall from scratch. I will be getting all the backups but have have few questions.

1) From Server to server transfer of all accounts i understand that if i create backup from the administrator accounts then i don't need to manually create any other accounts. Is that correct, so in this case all the website data, databases, email accounts and emails will be created.

2) Apart from user data what other files/configs should i have a copy of

3)One question about admin account, when installing directadmin is there an option for changing admin username to something else or if not then best way to change it after install.

Thanks

Hello.

1.) I thought yes, but I'm not 100% sure
2.) Maybe configs of your firewall, for example if you run csf as firewall you would like to have csf.conf and csf.pignore as backup.
3.) You can leave it and it will be overwritten by the root admin account backup. After that is done you also have to login with your old root admin username and password.
So I wouldn't change anything, just let it be overwritten by the restore. First restore the root admin account.
After that, login again with your old credentials, restore other admins if present. Restore resellers, and after that restore all user accounts.
